Special Projects Foreman

A Special Projects Foreman is responsible for managing electrical installation and upgrades for special commercial electrical projects. They often work by themselves or with a small crew to complete fast-paced projects. 

Senior Electrical Estimator

The perfect fit for this position is someone who enjoys working as a part of team to achieve success. They are hungry to learn, can take direction while providing input and can work successfully with others. This person has a particular love for data and numbers while being able to understand the bigger picture. Entrepreneurial at heart, this person can solve problems on the fly using creative methods. They are ready to be a key player in the company’s success and have a desire to be a department leader.

Project Foreman

A project foreman is responsible for managing electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting withing commercial and industrial settings. They are also responsible for managing, tracking, coordinating, scheduling, and reporting jobsite conditions and/or issues. The project foreman reports to the project manager.

Journeyman Electrician

A journeyman electrician is responsible for successful and professional electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. They are also responsible for being leaders and teachers when necessary to less experienced electrical apprentices. A journeyman electrician reports to the project foreman and/or project manager.

Service Technician / Driver

A service driver is responsible for managing electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting within commercial settings. They are responsible for managing small electrical projects on a fast timeline and for providing unparalleled customer service and support during emergency electrical service calls.

2nd - 4th Year Apprentice

A second – fourth year electrical apprentice is responsible for various electrical installation tasks including installing raceways, pulling wire, mounting equipment, installing and completing finished electrical products such as lights and switches and more. All tasks are to be completed under the guidance of a licensed journeyman electrician and on the job training will be provided. Second-fourth year apprentices are expected to work diligently both on the job and on their schooling to gather the proper and required knowledge and experience for becoming a qualified journeyman electrician.

1st Year Apprentice

A first-year electrical apprentice is responsible for various electrical installation tasks including installing raceways, pulling wire, mounting equipment, installing and completing finished electrical products such as lights and switches and more. All tasks are to be completed under the guidance of a licensed journeyman electrician and on the job training will be provided. No experience is needed to be a first year apprentice electrician.

It has been a pleasure to work with Carlton Electric as our sole electrician for the Edgewater Public Market project. Jeff, Shayne, and the entire team have been quick and efficient at getting projects done and have been very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process.
